Postdoctoral Researcher | Biomolecular Phase Transitions from Microfluidics to Processes
Biophysics, Chemical Engineering and Biochemistry fixed-term contract position at Max Planck Institute for Dynamics of Complex Technical Systems
About
Help establish Leif-Thore Deck’s new research group and investigate biomolecular phase transitions across scales. The work combines droplet microfluidics and fluorescence microscopy with thermodynamic and kinetic measurements of protein and peptide condensates, fibrils and crystals, connecting microscopic nucleation processes to litre-scale precipitation. Responsibilities include experimental development and student supervision. The full-time, three-year appointment is paid at TVöD E13 and can begin as soon as possible. Applications remain open until the position is filled.
