About
Two-year appointment supporting commissioning of the SINCRYS beamline and development of the Scandinavian Crystallography Service at MAX IV. Collect and analyse single-crystal diffraction data, solve structures, improve experimental workflows and assist academic and industrial users. Independent and collaborative materials or crystallographic-methods research is encouraged. Aarhus University employs the researcher, whose primary workplace is Lund, Sweden. Preferred start is 1 January 2027. Applications close at 23:59 CEST on 2 October 2026.
Requirements
PhD in crystallography, chemistry, materials science, physics or a relevant field; expert single-crystal X-ray diffraction and data-processing skills; experience with small-unit-cell chemical/materials systems; and excellent English. Python, micro-crystal mounting and synchrotron experience are advantageous.
