About
Research appointment in the Optical Ceramics Group, investigating ceramic slurry preparation, bulk-material sintering and the relationship between processing conditions and microstructure. The initial contract lasts one year and may be renewed up to a total of five years. The advertised start is 1 October 2026, negotiable with the successful applicant. Recruitment remains open until the position is filled.
Requirements
Completed or expected PhD in materials science, applied chemistry or a related field. Experience with fine-particle processing in liquids and microstructural characterization is desirable.
