Professor/Associate Professor in Hydropower Technologies

Permanent professorship or associate professorship in experimental fluid dynamics for hydropower technologies at the Department of Energy and Process Engineering, NTNU, based at the Waterpower Laboratory (established 1917) with its unique test facilities. The post is responsible for teaching, supervision and research in the technology of hydraulic machinery and systems, including basic fluid mechanics and specialised master's and PhD courses, and is expected to generate national and EU funding within the Norwegian hydropower research community.

Gross salary normally NOK 800,000-1,000,000 (associate professor) or NOK 950,000-1,150,000 (professor).

Doctoral degree in mechanical/fluid engineering or equivalent competence; laboratory experience with fluid machinery; teaching and supervision experience at master and PhD level.
