About
The AICell Lab (KTH Applied Physics and SciLifeLab, led by Wei Ouyang) is recruiting a researcher in privacy-preserving AI for sensitive biomedical data. The researcher will lead research and development of the group's platform in which AI agents analyse data where it resides, so that sensitive data never leaves the data owner's environment. Duties include representing KTH in EU projects, initiating external funding applications, building collaborations with healthcare, industry and data owners, supervising students and contributing to doctoral supervision, and publishing in leading journals and conferences (reference PA-2026-3753).
Requirements
Doctoral degree in a relevant field (for example physics, computer science, bioinformatics or life sciences) and extensive experience in AI, machine learning and computational biology. Preferred: international postdoctoral experience, training in information security or data protection, advanced use of LLM-based agents and multi-agent workflows, EU-project and research-infrastructure experience, and leadership experience.
