Seeking Research Scientists or Postdoctoral Researchers at Laboratory for Chromosome Segregation (26-1523)
Cell Biology, Cytology and research position at RIKEN
About
Tomoya Kitajima’s laboratory studies chromosome segregation in mammalian oocytes, eggs and early embryos, including age-related errors. Researchers combine live imaging, micromanipulation, cell engineering and molecular or synthetic biology. The advertised work contributes to a JST-CREST project developing artificial intracellular components to prevent embryonic aneuploidy. Research-scientist applicants need a relevant doctorate; postdoctoral applicants should be within five years of their doctorate or obtain it before starting.
This experimental role requires attendance at the Kobe laboratory. Annual contracts may be renewed following evaluation within the project term.
