Job Description
RIKEN's Quantum Information Physics Theory Research Team is recruiting multiple researchers to conduct theoretical work across quantum computing, superconducting qubits, quantum optics, photonics, machine learning, quantum open systems, computational physics and condensed-matter physics. Appointments are available at senior research scientist, research scientist and postdoctoral levels, with duties scaled to experience. The official call is open until the positions are filled.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold a PhD in theoretical physics
- have experience relevant to the team's research areas
- an excellent publication record
- strong written and verbal English communication skills
- and the ability to conduct interdisciplinary research cooperatively. Seniority is determined by experience since the doctoral degree and research achievement. The call explicitly remains open until the positions are filled.
