Job Description
Study lithium-ion transport in oxide solid electrolytes and all-solid-state batteries, connecting atomic and nanoscale diffusion with crystal structure, local structure, ion correlations and ionic conductivity. Methods include solid-state NMR, pulsed-field-gradient and two-dimensional exchange NMR, impedance spectroscopy and tracer diffusion. Research emphasizes garnet-type oxides and correlated or cooperative ion motion. One position in the Solid State Battery Ionics Group at NIMS; start 1 October 2026 or later.
Initial term one year, with annual review and a maximum of five years. Published monthly salary starts at JPY 448,816, depending on experience. - PhD
- experience in solid-state battery research and development
