Abstract
Luisa Eck investigates the density-operator algebra underlying fuzzy-sphere models of three-dimensional conformal field theories. Projection to the lowest Landau level produces a spin-enriched spherical counterpart of the Girvin–MacDonald–Platzman algebra, linked to fuzzy spherical harmonics. A local planar limit recovers the planar algebra at large angular momentum, while the commutative limit relevant to critical low energies makes small-angular-momentum modes semiclassical. The work is joint with Zhenghan Wang.
