Honours internationally recognised achievement in applied research and the prospect of lasting influence beyond the immediate speciality. Winners may undertake a research project of their choice with colleagues in Germany for six to twelve months, split across visits. Nominations are accepted at any time; the selection committee normally meets in March and October, with about six months needed for processing.

Recognises Canadian university or college partnerships that have developed and applied research with non-academic organisations. Principal nominees receive a CAD 200,000 NSERC research grant, while eligible partner organisations receive CAD 50,000 vouchers. Nominations close 4 December 2026 before 20:00 Eastern Time.

France’s main investigator-led call supports fundamental, exploratory and applied research across scientific disciplines. Five instruments cover young investigators, single teams and collaborative projects. Step-one submission or registration closes on 13 October 2026 at 17:00 Paris time. ANR–NSF and ANR–FRQ collaborations are suspended for this edition.

Four-year fellowships support mid-career researchers undertaking basic and applied research of national and international significance. Support combines a salary at one of three levels with up to AUD 60,000 annually for project costs. Applications close on 6 November 2026. Institutional deadlines may be earlier.
