About

Four-year fellowships support mid-career researchers undertaking basic and applied research of national and international significance. Support combines a salary at one of three levels with up to AUD 60,000 annually for project costs. Applications close on 6 November 2026. Institutional deadlines may be earlier.

Research at an eligible Australian administering organisation.

Mid-career researchers apply through an eligible Australian administering organisation. The PhD award date must fall between 1 March 2012 and 1 March 2022, or be equivalent after allowable career interruptions. A maximum of three applications is permitted. ARC medical-research exclusions apply.
