Postdoctoral Researcher — Nanoscale Quantum Photonics (26-1274)
RIKEN’s Nanoscale Quantum Photonics Laboratory seeks one postdoctoral researcher for its collaboration with the Institute for Basic Science. The project combines optical spectroscopy and nanophotonics with scanning-tunneling nanospectroscopy to investigate quantum states and energy conversion in low-dimensional structures and molecular interfaces. The Wako-based appointment begins in January 2027 or later by agreement. Annual contracts may be renewed through August 2029. The official advert explicitly accepts applications until the position is filled and supplies document-upload instructions.
