Workshop
Billiards, Spectral Geometry, and Quantum Chaos
About
The workshop brings together mathematicians from different communities to discuss recent developments in billiards, spectral geometry and quantum chaos, along three axes: the classical and quantum mechanics of billiards, spectral analysis on manifolds of large geometry, and high-energy eigenfunctions towards quantum chaos. These areas have seen an impressive amount of progress in the last decade, often in isolation. The workshop aims to let the participating communities share new ideas, foster collaborations and develop new approaches to long-standing open problems of importance to both mathematics and physics.
