Workshop
Logic @ Maryland: Model Theory
About
Logic @ Maryland: Model Theory is a five-day workshop that brings together researchers working on all aspects of model theory. It focuses mainly on purely model-theoretic concepts such as (neo-)stability theory, higher-arity classification theory, independence relations, monadic expansions and continuous model theory. Model theory has proven a powerful tool in algebra, geometry and combinatorics, and the continued development of abstract model-theoretic tools and methods should remain at the forefront of the field. The workshop highlights recent progress and new directions that will guide that development, and brings established experts and early-career researchers together to strengthen collaboration across the model theory community.
