New Directions in Graph Structure
Mathematics workshop by Alex Scott, Bojan Mohar, Paul Seymour and 2 more
Banff, Canada
About
This workshop examines how the overall structure of a graph is constrained by its smaller configurations. Building on the graph-minor viewpoint and its structural theorems, the programme addresses recent advances in three complementary directions: coarse structure, induced subgraphs and vertex-minors. Researchers will compare these approaches to understand how different notions of substructure determine global graph organization.
