Starts in 24 days
About
Practise identifying gemstones across a broad range of colours and difficulty levels, including mounted stones. Participants work directly with specimens from familiar sapphire to less common materials such as tugtupite, developing efficient and robust testing habits under an experienced gemmologist’s guidance. An optional short assessment offers a way to check the resulting identification skills.
6 November, 10:00–16:00; Europe/London (GMT, UTC+00:00). In-person practical course, limited to 20 places. Fee: £215 for members or £225 for non-members. The non-member booking is available through Eventbrite; members and students use the Gem-A dashboard. Tickets are non-refundable.
