The lead investigator submits through, or with approval from, the host. Cross-disciplinary teams are encouraged.

Clinicians in training, nurses and allied health professionals who are eligible to complete clinical training and practise in the UK. The award must be held at a UK university or research institute with an appropriate research group and supervisor. Applicants generally cannot already be registered for or have completed a PhD or MD.
