5th M-FED27 Conference: Microbialites — Formation, Evolution and Diagenesis

Organized by the M-FED27 Organising Committee, the conference examines microbial deposits from modern environments to the deep geological record. It combines sedimentology, geomicrobiology, geochemistry, mineralogy and petrology across field, laboratory and molecular scales. Contributions address how microbialites form and change, methods for studying them and environmental applications. Talks and posters are supplemented by workshops and optional field excursions; reduced prices support early-career participation.
