BIOPROSP 2027

The programme opens on Tuesday 9 March with a full day on marine bioprospecting, holds a joint BIOPROSP-Functional Metagenomics session on 10 March and closes on 11 March with a day dedicated to functional metagenomics, covering clinical, industrial and environmental applications of metagenomics-based technologies; participants can attend all three days or either part. Invited speakers include Katherine Duncan (Newcastle University), who works at the interface of microbial ecology, metabolomics and antibiotic discovery, Marla Trindade (University of the Western Cape) and Mark Liles (Auburn University). Contributed work is presented in poster sessions and selected talks, assessed by an international scientific committee.
