CSAAPT Fall 2026 Semi-Virtual Meeting / PICUP Workshop

The Chesapeake Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers meets at William & Mary with remote Zoom attendance available for the Saturday 10 October meeting. The program runs approximately 08:00–17:00 Eastern time and includes physics-education research, inquiry-based learning, AI-assisted assessment, classroom quantum computing, demonstrations and student reasoning across mathematics and physics. Featured speakers are Brad Miller (Spotsylvania County Public Schools) and Warren Christensen (North Dakota State University). The organizing chair is Joshua Erlich (William & Mary). Free remote registration remains open through 9 October; the in-person meeting registration deadline has passed. Sunday 11 October’s PICUP workshop has separate in-person registration and is not included in Saturday Zoom attendance. Use the remote registration form for the accessible meeting option.
