NCM 30: The 30th Nordic Congress of Mathematicians

The congress takes place every four years under the auspices of the national mathematical associations of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, and brings early-career and established mathematicians together to present diverse research in parallel sessions led by ten distinguished plenary speakers. The 2027 congress honours the memory of Sigurður Helgason, who would have turned 100 on 30 September 2027 and became interested in mathematics as a student at Akureyri Junior College, with plenary talks celebrating his mathematical contributions and personal life. Benedikt Magnússon chairs the organising committee and Finnur Lárusson chairs the scientific committee.
