Strengthening Molecular and Cellular Biophysics as a Biophysical Niche for Africa

This Biophysical Society-sponsored scientific exchange brings researchers and students together around structural biology, macromolecular dynamics, cellular mechanics, membrane biophysics, optical imaging, spectroscopy and high-throughput diagnostics. Presentations and discussions examine applications in health, biotechnology and industrial research, alongside oral and poster contributions. Participation is free. Hosted at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, the programme runs from 08:30 to 16:30 East Africa Time on 6 November. The abstract deadline was 16 October 2026.
