PIMS Postdoctoral Fellowships (BY NOMINATION ONLY)

Two-year mathematical-sciences fellowships for the 2027–28 intake at nine Canadian PIMS member universities. Start between August 1, 2027 and January 1, 2028. PIMS normally contributes CAD 30,000 annually, with sponsor matching bringing the stipend to at least CAD 60,000. A faculty or department nomination is mandatory. Submit through MathJobs by December 1, 2026; sponsor forms and references are due December 5. Supply a CV, publications, research and EDI statements, and at least two references. Remaining with a doctoral supervisor or institution, an older doctorate, or teaching over two courses annually requires justification. CNRS and Simons designations use the same applicant pool.

PhD or equivalent completed or expected by December 31, 2027. Normally awarded after December 31, 2023; older degrees require justification. Nomination by a PIMS member-university faculty member or department is required.
