Description

The Simons Foundation invites proposals to organize new symposium series in mathematics and theoretical physics, including theoretical computer science. Selected series may comprise up to three weeklong meetings with travel, lodging, and meals covered for participants, creating sustained time for collaboration on timely research problems.

Eligibility

The application must be submitted by a member of a proposed two-to-four-person organizing committee. Applicants inside or outside the United States are eligible, and institutional involvement or approval is not required. Proposed series must address mathematics, theoretical physics, or theoretical computer science.
