Job Description
The University of São Paulo's Terahertz Science, Technology and Innovation Group seeks a postdoctoral researcher to study low-energy collective excitations in quantum materials with terahertz spectroscopy. The project provides access to magneto-spectroscopy under intense magnetic fields and low temperatures and combines experimental infrastructure with national and international collaborations.
Requirements
- Applicants must hold a PhD in physics
- chemistry
- materials science or a related field awarded within the past seven years and have a strong interest in experimental or theoretical research on quantum materials
- optics
- spectroscopy or photonics. Optical or terahertz spectroscopy
- experimental optics
- magnetism
- cryogenics
- scientific instrumentation
- and experimental-data analysis are desirable.
