Job Description
The University of São Paulo's Institute of Chemistry seeks a postdoctoral fellow to investigate how chemistry mediates interactions between plants and herbivores, with particular emphasis on biotransformations in lepidopteran digestive systems. The position is part of a FAPESP Thematic Project on molecular diversity and the specificity of plant-herbivore interactions.
Requirements
- Applicants must have completed a doctorate
- demonstrate experience in natural products chemistry through their training
- publications and international experience
- and have strong experience interpreting nuclear magnetic resonance data. They must be fluent in English
- work full time and exclusively on the project
- and reside in São Paulo during the fellowship. Applications require an updated CV
- a letter of interest of up to two pages and two recommendation letters.
