Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Natural Products Chemistry

The University of São Paulo's Institute of Chemistry seeks a postdoctoral fellow to investigate how chemistry mediates interactions between plants and herbivores, with particular emphasis on biotransformations in lepidopteran digestive systems. The position is part of a FAPESP Thematic Project on molecular diversity and the specificity of plant-herbivore interactions.

Applicants must have completed a doctorate, demonstrate experience in natural products chemistry through their training, publications and international experience, and have strong experience interpreting nuclear magnetic resonance data. They must be fluent in English, work full time and exclusively on the project, and reside in São Paulo during the fellowship.
