Job Description
RIKEN’s Nanoscale Quantum Photonics Laboratory seeks one postdoctoral researcher for its collaboration with the Institute for Basic Science. The project combines optical spectroscopy and nanophotonics with scanning-tunneling nanospectroscopy to investigate quantum states and energy conversion in low-dimensional structures and molecular interfaces. The Wako-based appointment begins in January 2027 or later by agreement. Annual contracts may be renewed through August 2029.
