Seeking a Research Part-time Worker I or II (26-1396)

The Data Assimilation Research Team at the RIKEN Center for Computational Science seeks one research part-time worker to support data-assimilation research and related activities. The team develops weather-prediction and data-assimilation methods using large computational resources including Fugaku. The position is based at RIKEN’s Kobe Campus and normally involves three hours per day, three days per week, with hours negotiable. The initial one-year contract may be renewed, up to five years in total.

Hourly pay is JPY 1,600–2,200 for Worker I or JPY 1,300–1,550 for Worker II, depending on qualifications. Applications remain open until the position is filled.
