About
Join Dr Eder Zavala’s Mathematical Biomedicine Group to analyse high-resolution hormone time series and wearable-device data for digital endocrinology and precision medicine. Research will characterise individual variation and misalignment of hormonal rhythms, integrate data analysis with models of responses to stressors, sleep disruption and disease, and develop personalised computational models. Methods include time-series and network analysis, Bayesian inference, machine learning, differential-equation modelling and high-performance simulation.
The researcher will lead projects and collaborate with doctoral students, clinicians, computer scientists and mathematicians. The full-time appointment runs from 1 February 2027 to 31 December 2029; salary is £37,694–£46,049 annually. Applications close at midnight on 23 October 2026. Hybrid arrangements may be considered.
Topics
- digital endocrinology
- precision medicine
