Develop new AI and machine-learning methods for biological research in a tenure-track appointment shared by UC Berkeley’s EECS department and Center for Computational Biology. Topics include predicting cellular responses to genetic, molecular and environmental perturbations, molecular interactions, genotype-to-phenotype relationships, genome and biomolecule engineering, and methods that integrate single-cell, spatial, imaging and multimodal data.

A completed doctoral degree or equivalent international degree, or enrolment in a doctoral programme at application.
