Assistant Professor — Quantum Information Physics

The School of Physics and Astronomy seeks a researcher in quantum information science, including computation, simulation, algorithms, error correction, sensing, metrology, communication or quantum-device theory. Work incorporating AI or machine learning is encouraged. The appointee will establish an internationally recognized, externally funded programme, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor students and postdoctoral researchers, and contribute departmental service.

The full-time position advertises pay of $105,000–$120,000. Applications remain open until filled, with priority given to those received by 11 December 2026.
