Bioelectronics Engineer, Wetware & Biosensor Integration

Job Description
Melody is hiring a bioelectronics engineer to integrate protein biosensors, surface chemistry, hydrogels, membranes, and optical or electrochemical readout hardware into continuous molecular-monitoring technology. The role owns wetware integration strategy, diagnostic experimentation, directed-evolution workflows, materials development, instrumentation, and automation for real-world biosensing and eventual in-vivo studies.
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant science or engineering field
- or a bachelor's or master's degree with more than five years of industry experience
- deep expertise in at least two relevant areas spanning protein engineering
- surface chemistry
- biomaterials
- biosensing
- microfluidics
- automation
- or biofouling
- and ability to build or customize instrumentation.
