Protein Engineer - Biosensing

Job Description
Melody is recruiting a protein engineer to create biosensors from allosteric switches, signaling motifs, reporter proteins, site-specific chemical modifications, and bioelectronic interfaces. The role spans construct design, wet-lab screening, device integration, experimental or computational protein design, and mentoring within a continuous molecular-monitoring program.
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant science or engineering field with strong independent research experience
- or a BS/MS with more than five years of industry experience. Candidates need strength in experimental-first or computation-first protein design
- structural biology and biophysics competency
- quantitative experimental judgment
- and cross-disciplinary communication.
