Bioinformatician

Join the Ensembl Microbes team to maintain microbial genome resources, coordinate data releases and develop annotation pipelines for bacteria, archaea, fungi and protists. The three-year role combines biological data analysis, production software and collaboration with research communities. Hybrid working includes at least two days each week at the Hinxton campus. Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; microbial biology knowledge; strong Python; computational workflow, database and Linux experience; genome analysis and annotation skills.
