Job Description
Join the Ensembl Microbes team to maintain microbial genome resources, coordinate data releases and develop annotation pipelines for bacteria, archaea, fungi and protists. The three-year role combines biological data analysis, production software and collaboration with research communities. Hybrid working includes at least two days each week at the Hinxton campus. Applications may close early if a suitable candidate is found.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- microbial biology knowledge
- strong Python
- computational workflow
- database and Linux experience
- genome analysis and annotation skills.
