PhD position
Doctorat/PhD: Biologie de la chromatine chez les plantes (H/F)
CNRS – Laboratoire de physiologie cellulaire et végétale
- Grenoble, France · On-site
- Genetics and Epigenetics
About
Three-year PhD contract in the ChromDev team of the Laboratoire de Physiologie Cellulaire et Végétale (UMR 5168, CNRS–CEA–Université Grenoble Alpes–INRAE), enrolled in the Chemistry and Life Sciences doctoral school (EDCSV) of Université Grenoble Alpes. The doctoral researcher will study interactions between chromatin factors involved in regulating developmental genes in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana, developing molecular and genetic approaches and tools to study interactions between chromatin actors of interest, and performing epigenomic and interactomic analyses in different genetic backgrounds.
The team investigates the chromatin dynamics that regulate developmental transitions using a multidisciplinary strategy that combines in vivo phenotyping, omics (epigenomics, transcriptomics, interactomics) and in vitro characterisation of molecular interactions, in collaboration with the Institut de Biologie Structurale in Grenoble. Start date 1 February 2027; minimum monthly salary €2,300.
Requirements
Master’s in molecular and cellular biology or plant biology; molecular-biology techniques (molecular cloning, RT-qPCR, western blot); basic knowledge of plant genetics and transgenic analyses is an asset; good written and spoken English.
