About
The University of Bonn invites applications for up to two tenured W3 professorships in AI and machine learning within the Lamarr Institute and Department of Computer Science. Research interests may include foundation and world models, efficient AI, agentic intelligence, or embodied and hybrid learning. Successful candidates will lead research programmes, secure external funding and contribute to degree teaching and academic administration. Appointments can begin as soon as possible.
Requirements
Internationally recognized AI or ML research, research leadership and teaching capability are expected. Candidates must satisfy the university’s stated professorial appointment requirements. Teaching is in German and English; willingness to acquire German within a reasonable period is expected.
