About

Build an open dataset of human crowd dynamics for the VirtUs team’s FOUL-X project. Coordinate video acquisition at four to six sites in France, validate pedestrian tracking, organize trajectory data and develop metrics comparing crowd behaviour. Work with tracking and modelling researchers while addressing anonymisation, ethics and GDPR. Gross monthly pay is EUR 2,788. The advert lists a 1 October 2026 start date, which has already passed; applicants should confirm the revised start with the employer.

Requirements

PhD or equivalent, Python, video processing and object-tracking skills, and experience with real-world data-acquisition pipelines.
