About

Grants for Danish biomedical research groups to host foreign researchers at professor level in Denmark for two to six months, encouraging collaboration between senior scientists in Denmark and international peers. Research should be within basic or clinical neuroscience or science with clear relevance to or potential benefit for neuroscience, in its broadest sense. Up to DKK 500,000 per grant covers documented visit expenses such as travel, accommodation, running costs and technical support, but not the visiting professor’s salary. Applications are processed within six weeks except during holiday periods.

Eligibility

Covers: Up to DKK 500,000 for a two- to six-month visit, covering travel, accommodation, running costs and technical support; no salary for the visiting professor.

The applicant’s group and the managing institution must be Danish non-commercial research institutions; the guest comes from abroad.
