About
A two-year full-time postdoc (1 April 2027 to 31 March 2029) at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Aarhus University, in the project “Probing nanoscale heterogeneity in ultrafast phase transitions”. The project uses a recently developed soft X-ray imaging method at X-ray free-electron lasers to image light-induced phase transitions at the nanoscale, combined with laboratory time-resolved nonlinear optics. The postdoc leads XFEL and synchrotron soft X-ray imaging experiments and laboratory nonlinear-optics experiments, and prepares and characterises samples.
Requirements
A PhD in physics, chemistry or a related field, with experience in ultrafast lasers, X-rays and/or quantum materials.
