About

The Cheng Lab (Computational Neuroscience, Faculty of Computer Science) uses biological neural networks, cognitive modelling and machine learning to study learning and memory in humans and animals. The postdoc works on a collaborative project in the Collaborative Research Center SFB 1280 "Extinction Learning" with experimentalists: analysing learning dynamics in behavioural, neural and psychophysiological data collected by other SFB 1280 projects, comparing learning dynamics across individuals, species, learning phases and paradigms, developing analysis algorithms and computational models of learning dynamics, and coordinating with participating projects.

Full-time, fixed-term until 30 June 2029 (end of project), starting as early as possible; pay grade E13 TV-L where requirements are met. Applications close on 2 November 2026 (reference ANR 6177).
