About
Develop autonomous drone-based water sampling in the CLEAR project with Rogers and Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre. Multiple robots gather environmental data and transmit it over cellular networks to a cloud platform, supporting monitoring of oil spills, algal blooms, pollution and flood-related salinity. The joint Mechanical and Electrical Engineering role combines algorithms, computation and applied robotics. Annual salary is CAD 60,000–70,000 plus benefits, with top-ups for award holders.
