Postdoctoral Research Associate in Polymer Rheology and Processing
Rheology, Materials Science and postdoctoral position at KAUST
Apply by Wednesday, Nov 18 at 04:59 UTC
About
The researcher will study how polymer structure and rheology determine processability, including extrusion, compounding and fiber spinning. Experiments examine viscoelastic behavior, multilayers and interfaces, and preservation of microstructures during processing. The work connects fundamental materials research with industrial applications, publications and intellectual property. Applications close on 17 November 2026 at 23:59 US Eastern time.
Requirements
PhD in polymer science, materials science or a related discipline; experience in polymer rheology and processing, including experimental characterization and interpretation of structure–property relationships.
