Postdoctoral Researcher in Cancer Cell Plasticity and Functional Genomics

Cancer Biology, Genomics and research position at VIB

About

The Laboratory for Functional Genomics and Gene Regulation at VIB–KU Leuven seeks a postdoctoral researcher studying cancer-cell plasticity, using pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma as the main model. The project investigates how gene regulation permits changes in cellular identity, environmental adaptation and treatment evasion. Functional genomics is combined with advanced cancer models and access to single-cell and spatial technologies, imaging, metabolomics and animal research.

The researcher will take ownership of emerging projects and help develop experimental approaches in a growing laboratory.
