About

The Mossé and Weber laboratories at the CHOP Research Institute seek a postdoctoral fellow or scientist to develop next-generation CAR T cell therapies for paediatric solid tumours. The work spans molecular and cellular immunotherapy research, including genetic engineering and functional evaluation of CAR T cells and preclinical testing in in vitro and in vivo models. The Mossé programme has focused for more than two decades on the childhood cancer neuroblastoma, with research on genetic susceptibility, somatic mutations and clonal evolution, therapy resistance, immuno-oncology, drug development and clinical trials, and access to patient samples.

The fellow designs and conducts experiments, analyses and communicates data, contributes to grant writing and manuscripts, and mentors junior researchers and technicians.

Requirements

Doctoral training suited to molecular and cellular cancer immunotherapy research, including genetic engineering and functional evaluation of CAR T cells and preclinical in vitro and in vivo models.
