Senior Clinical Research Associate, Neuroscience Trials Australia (NTA)

Neuroscience Trials Australia, part of the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health, is recruiting a Senior Clinical Research Associate for its Clinical Operations team. The role leads sponsor monitoring and site activities across a portfolio of academic investigator-initiated and commercially sponsored neuroscience clinical trials: site monitoring, relationships with investigators, coordinators and sponsors, audit- and inspection-ready trial documentation, delivery on time and budget, risk escalation, process improvement and mentoring less experienced staff, with trial coordination on selected projects.

Twelve-month fixed-term, full-time (0.8 FTE considered), Parkville, Melbourne. Visa sponsorship is not available; current Australian work rights are required. Applications close on 4 November 2026 (AEDT).

Degree in life sciences, health sciences or a related discipline; at least 4 years of clinical research experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, hospital or academic setting; strong working knowledge of ICH-GCP and Australian and New Zealand clinical trial regulations; experience conducting monitoring visits and managing essential trial documents; ability to travel. Desirable: neuroscience, neurology or mental health research experience, CRO or service-delivery experience, quality systems and investigational product management.
