Senior Scientist, Computational Biology

Develop computational approaches to understand Gene Writing biology and assess genomic safety. The scientist works with experimental teams on study design and multi-omics analysis, builds reproducible sequencing pipelines and interprets molecular data for research and preclinical programmes. The Somerville role requires onsite work two to three days per week and includes presenting findings to interdisciplinary project teams.

PhD with at least five years, MS with ten years or BS with twelve years of relevant experience. Requires genome editing and off-target assay knowledge, hands-on NGS pipeline development, cloud computing, reproducible software practices and workflow systems such as Nextflow or Dagster.
