About
The Disease Modelling Group at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) seeks a senior or postdoctoral scientist to apply statistical and mathematical modelling and simulation to the impact of novel vector control interventions, focusing on spatial emanators, on mosquito population dynamics, malaria transmission and disease burden. Responsibilities include developing, calibrating and analysing mosquito and malaria models; analysing entomological and epidemiological field data from implementation studies and randomised controlled trials; running and analysing large simulation experiments with population-based and individual-based models; and working with research partners, with about three to five weeks of travel per year.
The 80-100% position in Allschwil starts on 1 February 2027 for two years with an option of renewal; applications are accepted while the position is online.
