Chemistry and neuroscience meet in a French-language programme on brain disorders and treatments. Topics include delivering drugs to the brain, obstacles in neurodegenerative therapy, translational medicine, marine natural products, exposure biomarkers and lysosomal approaches. Afternoon research addresses membranes in Alzheimer’s disease, copper chelators, multifunctional molecules and natural products, followed by a lecture on memory. The programme runs 09:00–17:00 Paris time on 4 November. In-person attendance is free with advance registration by 25 October; lunch depends on capacity, with school groups prioritised.

A one-day scientific exchange for students, early-career researchers, academics and professionals working in computational biophysics, structural biology, bioinformatics, computational chemistry and drug discovery. Presentations and interactive sessions examine computational approaches to drug design, with discussion, research-development conversations, mentorship and collaboration opportunities. The event emphasizes strengthening research connections in Ghana and the wider African scientific community. The programme runs from 08:00 to 17:00 GMT, including afternoon computational-biophysics and drug-discovery sessions.

The congress connects experimental and clinical pharmacology, from identifying therapeutic targets and testing mechanisms in preclinical models to clinical trials, access to treatment and evidence from routine care. Its programme examines synaptic and cellular communication in neurodegeneration, immunometabolism, inflammation, oncology, precision medicine and sex-aware experimental design. Sessions also address drug development, regulatory decisions, artificial intelligence and the sustainability of pharmacological research. Plenary lectures connect unmet needs in oncology to improved care and trace lysosomal calcium signalling from discovery towards clinical applications. Parallel symposia, young-investigator presentations and discussions bring together basic research and translational practice. Times are Europe/Rome (CET, UTC+1). On 25 November, parallel sessions begin at 13:30, the opening ceremony is 15:30–16:00 and the first plenary is 16:00–17:00. Morning sessions begin at 08:30 on 26–28 November. The final plenary is 11:30–12:30 on 28 November, followed by conclusions and awards until 13:00. Standard full-congress fees are EUR 500 for SIF members and EUR 300 for members under 38; academic non-members pay EUR 854, or EUR 488 if under 38, including VAT. Industry non-members pay EUR 1,159, with a higher PayPal rate. Day tickets are available. Shared-room accommodation for eligible non-tenured SIF members under 38 is subject to a waiting list after 16 June. Registration requires a separate congress-platform account; SIF website credentials do not apply.

The British Pharmacological Society’s annual conference brings together researchers, clinicians, students, industry scientists and regulators to discuss pharmacology and therapeutics. More than 40 scientific sessions across three days include plenaries, symposia, prize lectures, workshops, early-career bootcamps and research posters. An education and engagement session features tools and resources for learners, patients and the public. The meeting takes place in person at Manchester Central Convention Complex on 8–10 December 2026, in the Europe/London timezone. Abstract presenters must attend in person and complete their registration by 30 November. Abstract submission closed on 8 September and early-bird rates ended on 27 October. Standard three-day fees range from £25 for BPS undergraduate members to £545 for non-members; other membership categories have their own rates.

This free hybrid conference connects emerging Alzheimer’s and dementia researchers and clinicians across molecular biology, genetics, drug development and related neuroscience. A live virtual core programme links local hubs in Bangkok, Cairo, Ljubljana and Nicosia, with mentoring, networking and career-development opportunities. All participants complete the global registration; those attending physically also complete a separate registration for their chosen hub.

This symposium compares mechanisms of drug resistance, tolerance and persistence in bacteria, fungi and cancer. It explores how genetic change, non-genetic cellular plasticity, biochemistry and metabolism combine to let cells survive treatment. Themes include evolution under drug pressure, genome plasticity, stress responses, cellular fitness and the ecological context of drug responses. Efflux, microenvironmental effects and other extracellular contributors are considered alongside cellular states and biochemical mechanisms. By comparing systems across species, the programme aims to deepen understanding of clonal evolution and single-cell biology and inform strategies for tackling drug resilience.
