43° Congresso Nazionale della Società Italiana di Farmacologia
Pharmacology and Neuropharmacology conference
About
The congress connects experimental and clinical pharmacology, from identifying therapeutic targets and testing mechanisms in preclinical models to clinical trials, access to treatment and evidence from routine care. Its programme examines synaptic and cellular communication in neurodegeneration, immunometabolism, inflammation, oncology, precision medicine and sex-aware experimental design.
Sessions also address drug development, regulatory decisions, artificial intelligence and the sustainability of pharmacological research. Plenary lectures connect unmet needs in oncology to improved care and trace lysosomal calcium signalling from discovery towards clinical applications. Parallel symposia, young-investigator presentations and discussions bring together basic research and translational practice.
Times are Europe/Rome (CET, UTC+1). On 25 November, parallel sessions begin at 13:30, the opening ceremony is 15:30–16:00 and the first plenary is 16:00–17:00. Morning sessions begin at 08:30 on 26–28 November. The final plenary is 11:30–12:30 on 28 November, followed by conclusions and awards until 13:00.
Standard full-congress fees are EUR 500 for SIF members and EUR 300 for members under 38; academic non-members pay EUR 854, or EUR 488 if under 38, including VAT.
