Quantum Technology funding

Project leads must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for EPSRC funding. A person may lead at most one application. The opportunity permits international collaborators as project partners; the UKRI-RCN and UKRI-IIASA co-lead agreements do not apply.

An ARC-eligible organisation applies through its university research office with industry partners, subject to the 2026 edition of the programme guidelines. This call funds centres; doctoral and postdoctoral researchers apply separately to opportunities created by successful centres.

Lead applicants must be based at an eligible UK research organisation. International co-leads are restricted to the UKRI–RCN or UKRI–IIASA agreements; other collaborators join as project partners. The research office submits the application.
